Impossibly Good Burgers

Description

This recipe uses Impossible Meat and ground mushrooms to create a meatless burger with tons of umami flavor!

Burger Mix
  • 12 oz Impossible Meat (1 package)
  • 8 oz Oyster mushrooms
  • 1 tsp Grill Master Burger Spice by FreshJax
Instructions
  1. Remove any inedible portion of the oyster mushroomscut up oyster mushrooms on a cutting board
  2. Grind the oyster mushrooms

    Using a blender or food processor, grind the oyster mushrooms until chunky but not completely smooth (similar in consistency to the Impossible Meat).

  3. Make burger patties

    In a large bowl, combine the Impossible Meat, ground oyster mushrooms, and BBQ spice. Mix well by hand. Shape into 4 patties approximately 5oz each.

  4. Grill the burgers

    Grill the patties on medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side. Top with your favorite condiments and enjoy!

    NB: if you don't have a grill or you're trying this recipe in the winter and want to stay warm and cozy, you can also cook the burgers on your stovetop using a greased pan with similar cook times.
